PATIENT UPDATE: New Patient Communication Protocol

To All CareOne Patients,
Over the past 20 years, CareOne has been providing our Allergy and Primary Immune Deficient patients the best possible care and service. Our practice has grown and doubled over the past 10 years and in order to improve on our services we have hired a consulting firm to analyze our communication methods and come up with a solution to improve our communication with our patients. Based on their research, they have suggested that we utilize secure, HIPAA-compliant, email communications via the internet and soon to be launched Patient Portal. These two new protocols will allow CareOne to better service our patient’s needs. Based on this research, we have implemented a New Patient Communication protocol that will enable all patients to receive answers to their important questions within a 24-hour period in writing with respect to appointments, medication refills, insurance and billing.

When you call the CareOne Main office line (239-596-5560) you will have a menu to choose from, please see the below recorded messages:

Allergy Patient Checking in - CareOne Allergy Naples, FL On Time Commitment

CareOne’s On-Time Commitment to Our Patients

We understand that your time is important, and we our always looking for new ways to lower waiting times in our office. To that end we have implemented CareOne’s On-Time Commitment, a new policy to eliminate long wait times. CareOne will be initiating the following changes in an effort to reduce wait times.

1. When you make an appointment you will be asked if you expect to require additional time to speak with our Doctors and staff (beyond your allotted exam time). If a request for additional time is made it will be added to our calendar and you will receive a text confirming the date and time for your appointment.

2. At check-in you will receive an accurate record of your arrival time, and if you have to wait more than 15 minutes you will receive a Prima by Cindy Skincare Gift ($25 Value).

3. Out of respect for the time of all CareOne Patients one of our nurses will remind both you and the doctor when your appointment is wrapping up.

The CareOne team is just as committed to respecting the value of your time as we are to the treatment of your allergy, asthma, and immunology conditions. We hope these new changes will both reduce your wait times and provide you with the proper time you require to speak with your doctor. Please contact us with any questions you may have about our new policy.
